Grant Garraway is the Systems Engineering Discipline Lead & Systems Engineering Manager for Raytheon Australia.
Grant’s roles and responsibilities include providing leadership and direction for systems engineering staff and activities, managing the systems staff levels and competencies, as well as providing part time capacity in direct support of projects and business development.
Grant joined Raytheon in 2000, as a Senior Systems Engineer, before embarking on a Hardware Engineering Manager role in 2003.
Prior to joining Raytheon, Grant held a Senior Systems Engineer position with Boeing Australia where he was responsible for the integration of Collins Class Submarine Combat System functions and configuration systems.
In 2010, Grant received the Raytheon Australia Technical Excellence Award.
Grant holds a BE (Honours) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Queensland.
He is a Fellow (FIEAust) and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) of Engineers Australia.
Member of the College of ITEE & Electrical and member of IEEE.
He is a registrant on the National Engineers Register (NER), Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) Engineers register and International Professional Engineers (IntPE) register.
He is a member of the Industry Advisory Board (EE&T); UNSW, and the Professional Advisory Board (Eng Mgt), UTS.
